Regarding tracks

Dataset availability (no hosting)

This repository does not distribute the track dataset used in this research.

What our tools does (and does not do)

The tools only transforms data you already have locally. It does not automatically collect, crawl, or scrape content from the web.
To reproduce our research inputs, you must collect mario kart wii tracks in .szs format. For example, you can use the Tockdom website, including, in particular, pages List of Custom Tracks and Custom Track Distributions (a distribution being a collection of tracks). A list of the tracks used will be released as the project progresses.

Third‑party rights & responsible use

The materials processed by our tools are third‑party works created by members of our community. All rights remain with their respective authors/rightsholders. Public accessibility does not mean a work is public domain or freely redistributable.

We do not grant any license to third‑party content. You are responsible for ensuring your collection and use complies with applicable licenses/terms and applicable law.

No redistribution without rights

Do not publish, host, share, or redistribute the downloaded materials or any compiled dataset derived from them unless you have explicit permission from the rightsholders or the relevant license permits redistribution.

Regarding telemetry

The telemetry dataset may or may not get released after discussion with the community.
